At TreeHouse, we're raising industry standards for secure document destruction:
- we provide locked, high security collection bins positioned in a safe location in your office
- the bins are cleared by TreeHouse staff who are security bonded by Victoria Police
- your waste paper is transferred to locked bags and placed in our secure vans
- a tag and track system provides computer data on transportation of the paper from your office to the TreeHouse plant
- bags are unlocked under surveillance cameras
- documents are processed through the latest fully automated German Vecoplan Class 5 shredders (the highest recognised rating in Australia)
- we'll email you a Certificate of Destruction within 30 minutes of collecting any highly sensitive documents if needed for no extra charge.
As you can see, our security systems easily enable you to meet the requirements of the Privacy Act as well as demonstrate good corporate governance.
In addition, our shredding processes, systems and premises are currently undergoing endorsement by ASIO’s SCEC (Security Construction and Equipment Committee). We are also developing our Environmental Management System in line with the ISO 14001 standard.
